longer cables (brake and clutch) routed in the factory locations.... no flopping at all.

now as for the cables and wires on the bars, i used zip ties to keep them tight against the bars.

I used these from Drag Specialties. Helps to hold the clutch cable up.

Edit: helps to keep the clutch cable from sagging in the clutch perch.

I used the same thing sbates posted for my clutch cable since I went with 16 twin peaks. Made a noticeable difference keeping the clutch cable from sagging. I didnt get one for the brake cause that one just falls into place and doesn't move at all.

Youll love the 16s they are real comfortable. I rode 8 hours and had zero back or shoulder pain. I invested in some gauntlet gloves and they took care of the cold weather riding.

I catch myself bent over a lot with old bars hope to solve the problem can't wait to try them out. Currently have inch plus of snow so good timing for the upgrades.

a guy i work with pulled up in the parking lot next to me, asked me "why did you put apes on a bagger?" which mine are only 12" Yaffe (but run tall)... i said give it a sit, see how they feel. he sat on it, went... HOLY SH!* THAT IS NICE! exactly lol!

that is/was one of the best mods i can say i did.... it's at least in the top 3. the factory bars sucked with my shoulder and back injuries. with the apes, it makes for a while new ride!
