Looks good guys! I love white walls dont care their a pain to clean....so is chrome but we do it with love!
I see a tone of mamoth spoke wheels with white walls but I'm thinking old school style lace with twisted spokes! Unless I find a set of mags that I think will work for me! Bikes condord purple/diamond ice so purlpe wheels would look retarded. Chrome is the only option for me!
Had to chime in here, chrome is definitely NOT a pain to clean. In fact, it's the easiest coating there is to keep clean. You'll find (if you're particular about how your scoot looks) that keeping those wide white walls is the biggest pain there is. Now with that said, I had them for a long time, and I absolutely love the look of them. Especially with spokes. Twisted spokes would be even better. But be prepared to have to buy new tubes every time you replace tires, and know that there's a significant amount of care required to keep them looking pristine. JMHO.
When going for that classic look white walls are a must! My buddy and I both have roadkings ('02-'03) he has $3500 into his wheels and I have stock polished chrome lace with www's I get a ton more compliments then him and he dont like that lol
In the end whether its paint, chrome, rubber or mechanical its all a labour of love.... and thats almost as fun as riding lol
So tell me. In keeping white walls clean are there products that are known to be avoided? I have 3-4 bottles of Westley's Bleche-Wite from probably 15-20 years ago (seriously) that might be good or might be bad. Not sure what age does. But, I would believe that to be old or original formula that I had read can be bad news for coatings and finishes on modern aluminum wheels. What's the word and should I just consider what I have toxic waste and drop it off at the local recyclers?

I used Westley's Bleche-Wite all the time without any adverse effects whatsoever. But I think I'd toss the 20 year old formula, and get some fresh if it were going on my bike. Here's a link you might get some good poop from. Reviews of Bleche-Wite. http://www.amazon.com/Westleys-500G-...ews/B000CII6ZQ
I think that the spoke wheels/WWW combo looks great. But not a fan of spoke wheels w/tubes. Check out this mag wheel from www.PrimoForged.com called the Cali. It is a full mag wheel with angled spokes that is tubeless and looks great! I'm still on the fence as to whether I really want the WWW just for the cleaning hassle, but I don't think anything looks classier than a HD with spokes and WWW. If I do, it'll be with these wheels.

I run DNA mammoth spokes 21 inch front & 16 inch rear...Tubeless with white walls and I run Dyna Beads, I would hate jinx myself but I don't have any leak down on these rims. Just be ready to clean, clean, clean. I use a magic eraser on the wheels..Works great
