I had them for a long time on my bike with spokes and with the chromed wagon wheels. Just got tired of having to clean them so often. More time riding, less time cleaning. But I love the look.
I have never understood why people think white walls only look OK on spoke wheels. I put them on a set of wagon wheels off an ultra that I fitted to my Road King. Also a gamble at the time, but I was very confident. Seems to work because I love the look and so do a lot of other people who have commented on the look. Close up photo and wider angle - I hope the photos turn up because I haven't posted many before.
Looks good guys! I love white walls dont care their a pain to clean....so is chrome but we do it with love!
I see a tone of mamoth spoke wheels with white walls but I'm thinking old school style lace with twisted spokes! Unless I find a set of mags that I think will work for me! Bikes condord purple/diamond ice so purlpe wheels would look retarded. Chrome is the only option for me!
