Thanks guys, being a motorcyclist really makes you appreciate nice weather so we can get out on our favorite toys and ride with our closest friends. Like you all suggested I will be riding the heck out of it for the rest of my leave.
Jmcdermit I love how the lowers look on yours, when I can afford it, I will do the same I think.
Gorgeous ride...would love to get out for a Harley tour down under. It was 39* here yesterday and I almost took the bike out, too - but that was 39* F, not C, so I took the cage...jealous - I want summer back! LOL!
Congrats on the new scoot!
Be careful out on the road, got to watch out for any bloody 'roos that may hop out your way. Try not to hurt the joey in the pouch, if she is carrying...
Yeah gotta keep your eyes peeled for the local fauna. Touch wood, I have only hit one roo in my time so far and that was in a car. Made a good mess of the vehicle to. You guys have plenty to look out for to, I still think innatentive drivers are our biggest threat to staying upright.
Getting a new ride is always a beautiful thing. Having to wait as long as you did and combining it with your daughters birthday is awesome! Sounds like a perfect day! Australia is a beautiful place for motorcycling.
Yeah it was a special day combining two of my favourite things in my life. Gives this bike a bit more sentiment for me.
I would also love to ride some of those awesome places you guys ride in the US. I don't believe in bucket lists, but the US is definitely my next over seas holiday. Might have to wait until the Aussie dollar goes up a bit again though
