Nice bike, just remember you will not get jack **** back when you trade, sell, or get rid of it just because you put well over $1000's in mods.
Just a friendly reminder
Thanks for the compliment. However, your reminder is falling on deaf ears. In 1965 when I was 18, I bought my 1st car, a 1965 Chevelle SS. I soon made the decision that I was not going to let the "fear" of putting money that I'd never get back into a car, truck, jeep, motorcycle interfere in my owning/driving/riding experience with that vehicle. I'm not rich but life is too short to worry about that.

Beautiful Bike, very tastefully done, especially those wheels, they look fantastic.
I've had all blacked-out bikes in the past and liked them, now I'm back to my chrome phase with my Street Glide.
I agree with some of those above, if you are going black to the extent you have, I would continue and do the trans cover, primary, rocker boxes and their covers, and maybe the dash too? I think that would really tie it all together.
Good luck with your continuing project, after this Christmas and then my birthday, I will pretty much be done accessorizing mine, and she'll be ready for some custom paint.

Ray, I've looked at your bike often lately and really like it. I'm really not going much farther with the black. My edge cut black levers were supposed to be here today but didn't show. I'm thinking of doing the derby and horn cover on the other side to help tie it in to the exhaust side. Might add the D&D ghost pipe. No plans to get much into the motor itself with the black but that could change. Oh yeah here's the bike I'm coming off of. Looks like you and I have gone in different directions. Thank you and everyone else for their kind words.

Are you leaving the rear footpegs chrome or did you forget to give it to your powdercoater ?
Looks fantastic!!
Thanks for the compliment and appreciate your input regarding foot peg. Unsure about it right now. Not looking for the total black out. Just got my black edge cut levels an hour or so ago and will put them on tomorrow and evaluate then. Might leave the signals and passenger pegs just to break all the black up toward the front and the rear. First time going the blackened route so I'm taking it in small steps.
