bigskyroadglide,
Arm pit of the south, would that be Houston?
no I use to live in Houston(North Shore / Clear Lake area) for about 7 years. i live in the other T state. I'm about 230 miles give or take from Bob's front door. He is a good guy and IMHO really knows his stuff. I also like his products. Have tried a lot of cams, always come back to Bob's product. They just work for my riding style
I went gear drive that's why i went 408G. I like the 555's as well, but like the 408G a little better. The dyno was not my deciding factor. Bob's advice was.

+1 on Steve, and Ed at Dyno Difference in Dallas is also a FIRST RATE tuner. He's done every bike I've had over the past 14 years, and has always done a geat job.
Agreed. Have too used Ed several times. Spot on each time.
I have the tw-555's in my 2012. Amazing difference in power. Still great low end torque and much more torque and scream past 4000. If you are going to keep everything else stock, then the tw-222 is a great choice. If you think you may bump compression and headwork, the 555's will be a better cam.
No comparison between the TW-222s and SE255s. Sure they are both bolt in cams but that is about where the comparison stops.
TW-222s will make more power everywhere. You'll think you have a new bike. I was amazed at how hard the TW-222s pull for just putting in cams. 95 hp and 115 tq for my 103 with TW-222 cams
for gods sakes .get a good tune b4 u throw money at cams. u just might be surpassed how good it will run with the 255 IF properly tuned.
Good advice. The 222 is similar to the 255, 255 kicks in a bit sooner and fades a bit sooner but essentially both are low to mid range cams. If you like to ride in the higher rpms than probably a different profile cam than either would be the key. I think riders who think these cams are so different probably are enjoying the benefits of a good tune.
