Default Not another pipe question!

I know this has prob been asked somewhere but my search didn't find it...so bear with me.

It is a certainty that I will get my new ride breathing (and sounding) better when I get it ('07 RKC). I have always used V&H (exc build quality) on my prior bikes (metrics and UK).

But I have never run "Slip-On's"...so...

IF I went with V&H Oval Slip-On's can you see the "seam" (muffler into pipe) or any connectors, etc?

What is the diff between just the Slip-on's and the dresser duals WITH Slip-ons inPower? Sound? Of course they look diff because you are replacing the whole shootin match with the Dresser Duals (2 into 2, I presume).

Thanks...

SGN

You can see (click pic for full shot) and how they sound here;

duals are just that each cyl un -conected to each other with its own muffler, little less low end torque with this set up, most power is a true 2into 1 system.

Yeah...I know the V&H site is pretty solid.

Maybe just the slip-ons for now...though the 07 sounds pretty good stock (compared to prior years). I certainly do not want to give-up any torque.

Thanks!

And I promise not to have such lame posts in the future! lol

Hey, you are not settleing for slipons, I run them and they are the best sounding pipes Ive ever had on a touring model, deep rumble, not tinny like some.
