Default sweet eBay score

I picked up an inner fairing for $90 shipped on ebay today. The seller said there were no scratches or gouges and the mounts are all in good shape. I've been wanting to have a painted inner fairing for a long time but have been waiting for the right deal to come along. now I just need to find a local painter that can do it, which shouldn't be a problem.

I also picked up a fullsac true dual kit today. Today was a good day.

I have a painter that does EXCELLENT work who charged me just $300 for my inner fairing to be painted.. $90 plus the pain job doesn't seem reasonable to me, but hey its your money, spent it wisely...

Good score on the inner...you can rattlecan it much cheaper than pro and get the same look. Spray cans have improved, over time, and with the right prep work, patience and steady hand - she'll look/last fine vs. $pendy professional job...JMO.

Who use that local there's a guy here in North Carolina does excellent work. His prices are ultracompetitive and his turnaround time is very fast why don't you give a call to Robbies Custom Shop Paint 704-740-9382

We'll...I've heard of plenty of folks getting theirs painted professionally much cheaper than $300. Also, the hd factory inner fairing is $600 in my color. If I were to spend the money on a factory fairing I'd still be spending more. I'm not sure how spending less and having less down time than taking my fairing off and taking it to a painter isn't reasonable.

The guy I used and recommended charged me $225 for the inner fairing but I also had other things painted and repaired.

It's not always about saving money. You're going to be staring at that inner fairing for as long as you own the bike. Get quality! That's going to be the most important criteria for that little job. Remember, "the joy of getting a good deal soon wears off, when the reality of the level of quality sets in." A couple of bucks more for an outstanding job will make you much more happy than saving a couple of bucks to get it done on the cheap. Trust me on this one, I know from life experience.

If you want a quality paint job try Hot Rods and Harleys in Concord NC.
Speak with Marty...980 521 6136.
I have used Robbies or at least tried and got my inner fairing back after 4 months. He wound up refunding my money because the job was so bad.Marty did a wrap fender for me and a tweeter pod with some graphics on it. He was able to match my graphics and colors perfectly. Price and delivery were great.

Fat Baggers have color matched inner fairing for 649.95 which includes a 251.00 core charge which you will get back when you send them your old inner fairing, thats 398.95 plus shipping when your done. Their paint quality and color matching are excellent.
