I know this is a weird thread resurrection by pipes (what did he even buy?) but I'll add to it because I've seen all of the ones listed in this thread and have used a handful of them.
IMO, the HD bags are the best quality...but are hardly functional for much. I hated the Kurys and didn't care much for the t-bags.
I'm currently using a 4 pocket "3 pouch" bag branded by Hog Tunes (made by Saddlemen's). The side pockets aren't good for much other than a garage remote, gum, chapstix, keys, etc. But the middle pocket is big enough to hold my sunglasses and the large zippered pocket in the back is huge and will hold just about anything you would need in a windshield bag.
I keep my iphone in there while riding and it has grommets to needle the charging cord through so that the phone can charge while riding and while hooked up to the aux input on the stereo. I also keep some energy bars/snacks in there while on long slab rides as well as a map or two of the areas I'm in.
The bag works best on bikes with the hogtunes tweeter pod bar or the leather "dash" attachment that Harley sells for the pre-Rushmore models. Without it, the bag sticks out a bit and may sag.
Mine fits perfectly under a 7inch LRS windblade shield.
I've got a 02 Electra Glide. Was thinking of the 3 pocket system for it. While at the swap meet at biketoberfest in Daytona, I picked up that and the klock werks navbag. (Only paid 50.00 bucks for both and they were in excellent condition). I was a little concerned about the navbag cause I thought it might block my sight. I was wrong. Sits perfectly under line of sight. So I cut the middle bag off the backing, and put the navbag in its place. So I've got the 2 pouches on the side and a gps holder in the middle. There is plenty of room in the navbag behind my gps unit (magellan maestro 4040, for now) for sunglasses and phone. I really like the set up. I will say buying the 3 pouch set up and the navbag brand new is EXPENSIVE! But flea bay should have some good used ones. I'll try to post pics of my set up tomorrow. Hope this helps.
