How much of a pain in the *** is it to change the lower legs on an EG? Ive been thinking about doing the same thing this winter but really don't want to put new chrome rims on without changing out the lowers too.

That's the smart way to think. I did the lowers and the front wheel looked like crap. Should have just done it all at once.

As far as the install it's easy if you ask me. Several threads and videos will walk you right through it. Of course some basic tools are needed.

Here's a few more pics.

Go to e-bay and type in street glide rims and you will see Ricks rims for sale and also find his store.

Thanks sanman!
Yep... Your pictures absolutely confirm my thoughts. Do the lowers as well. Otherwise, you'll just end up doing them anyway.

Thanks...but there's others that have way more than me. I haven't really touched the motor yet. Working on Chopped TP, Hogtunes lids, and cams.

I think for 2014 I'm focusing on paying it off!

Looks really good. Consider doing the calipers too. I got them from Rick as well. Think it was $289 with an exchange.
