You may like this one... I've used it for week-long trips on my Street Glide. Who needs a tall bulky pack that upsets your center of balance! Keep it simple... Pack light! This one rides low on your rack, or on the passenger seat to lean against. Very durable. Expandable. Rain cover included. I've used it for many trips and love it. Check it out. I got my last one at Amazon for a good price.
I've got SAC's large and small bag. They both have the backrest pocket stitched into them so you can use them either way, forward for backrest or turned around to sit on the rack. I've got a ton of miles on mine, and never had any problems. Heavy canvas kind of Cordura nylon product. Try this to look at some on EBay. I'm hearing HD bought them out, but you can still pick some up. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/sac-luggage

Riggs Pak CTB-950 king tourer
I have the Nelson Rigg CTB-950 as well. Over the years I've tried every major brand. The Nelson Riggs stuff is bullet proof. Extremely well made and at great prices, and you can't believe how much they hold, and how good they look. Water proof PLUS added rain covers make them a true value. If the 950 is too big, this was my 2nd choice... http://www.ebay.com/itm/300802268571...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Do you use the CTB-950 on your passenger seat with the king tour pak still on your bike? I'm looking for a large touring bag to put on my passenger seat while I have the Tour pak on the bike as well for my longer trips.
I've been looking at the half-drum Saddlemen seat bag as well but I sometimes take shorter trips (to Sturgis, Moab, etc) and am thinking I'd like the versatility of using the bag without the tour pak on as well...which seems it would be difficult with the saddlemen.
