Just wondering what you guys are using. I'm looking for one that will sit on the rack,or I can turn around sit it on the rear seat and use it as a backrest. I'm looking for a pretty large one, enough for a weeks worth of clothing.
I got a Saddlemen bag, not this exact one, though - I think I have the 3200, I'd need to check...but I'm real happy with the build quality, features, and how tightly it fits on the bike. I recommend it.
I assume you're talking soft bags...I've had good success with the T-Bag line...excellent versatility, good selection, great quality...availability at our local dealers here where I live. There is another outfit, a mom 'n' pop, that makes bags that fit around sewer pipe and they put padding on it, specifically made to look like a cylindrical roll that you can lean against...I forget the name of the outfit, but I bought one, pretty useful. Wound up giving it away to a pal, maybe somebody else can weigh in on that if it sounds interesting to you...
I use a Nelson Rigg expandable tail bag for both my FLHX and CBR1100XX. Awesome and versatile bag which will hold a weeks worth of gear if you don't mind wearing some things a couple times... Here's a link for Nelson Rigg's wheeled bag.
