Clearview 24" Shield +3 width on Road King
Seems like a MASSIVE shield, but it should really reduce wind...
I have the 17.5 and it is perfect since i can see over it (just below nose)and it shoots the air just over my head at 5 foot 8.5 in a relaxed riding position.
24 inches would require looking through which would really affect visibility when stuck riding in the rain and especially on an unexpected wet night.

Mine has no extra width than whatever is their standard.
I am 5 foot 8.5 inches and the top of the windshield is below my nose.
I went through a similar situation and did a forum search before i purchased mine.
I believe a forum member named Pastorjohn had several pictures posted at the time.
In order to better picture the situation:
Looking at the bike from the front with fender between legs:
The top of the shield is 18 inches up the center from the chrome headlight or 17 3/4 inches up from the spear on the headlight and running through the center bolt on windshield (5 bolts on horizontal bar).
As an additional measurement : 11 1/4 inches from center of the center horizontal bar bolt to the top of the clear view edge.
The width is 1.5 inches from the last top horizontal bolt. So look at the top bar and measure out/sideways 1.5 inches and that is where the end of the shield is located.
Remember the seat comes into play for your body position/height.
My original from the factory since new windshield: was about 2 1/2 inches taller than the clear view 17.5 i purchased and about 1/4 inch wider/fatter than the clear view(about 1 3/4 total) on each side.
The original shield top edge was either in my line of sight or i had to crouch a little to see through it.
At 5 foot 7 you would need to decide if you want to look through it or over it while the width is not a deal breaker although you will get warmer in the summers with a wider shield.
At 5 foot 8.5 the wind hits the top part of my full face helmet using the clear view recurve 17.5.
You may wish to consider shorter if you want to look over it.
The recurve makes it act like a shield that is 2 inches taller in regards to wind.
I would imagine that you are looking through your stock shield as you ride and that rain makes visibility difficult.
Consider just marking the shield with dimensions provided in order to make your decision.
I have given you multiple measurement points that should help facilitate a decision by making a few marks.
