Nick- go into your settings and you can change it, yes you will need to have the radio flashed. Here's the path to that;
1. Home Button
2. Setup
3. Speaker/Headset: here you will see 3 options, scroll down and change your settings accordingly
Thanks Scott. I had radio flashed when I installed yesterday. After going through these settings, do i need to go back to dealer to flash again, or will this cover it. Thanks again.
Nick, as far as I know you should be good now. I tested mine by making a call while sitting in my garage instead of riding around with the crazies here.

Thanks Scott. Gonna go try it when rain stops. Where did you mount plug? Where they wanted it next to console? Think there should be a better place.
For now it's located on the left rear of the console, this summer when I visit my parents I'll have my dad make a custom bracket to mount it along with the heated clothing plug and powdercoat it black.
Ok, Scott was on the money. Option was there. Worked. Now I downloaded new software to radio to upgrade to 1.7. Now I make call, but can hear through speakers and headset (Whichever I have radio set to) but talk into microphone and no one can hear me. Does radio have to be flashed for Voice activation and or intercom. This is getting silly, cause it worked before software upgrade.

Nick, yes the dealer has to change some setting in your radio with their Digital Tech II...which is basically a laptop with HD software (this is not the download available for the general radio software update)
Alright...now that this thread was hi-jacked. Back to topic.. I installed my custom harness, took it to the dealer. They flashed it and updated the radio. I only tested it by blowing into each mic, rider and passenger and intercom lit up great. Now, I can hear and talk fine. I can hear my wife, but she can't hear me. Figured I messed up a connection and would tackle it tonight. Well, after a couple of hours of troubleshooting, the flash for the street glide does not turn on the rear headset speakers. Damn MoCo. Now i have to make another trip to see if they are able to turn them on.
