Dude, that was a very cool video. I'm afraid to get one. I'd be making and editing video's all of the time. My best friend is a t.v. news journalist. When we go to parties/gatherings, he brings DVD's of his best broadcasts (I'm not kidding) and will forced everyone to watch them. I fear if I get a GoPro, I'd do the same. But anyway, you made a cool video. Glad you're enjoying it.
I do wish I had it when we rode the entire BRP and Tail of the Dragon last year, but there are plenty more rides to be had and I am sure we will make that trip again.
We ride as much as we can during the season just me and my wife as well as with friends. We try to get to different places and see different things so I think between that and the Offroading with my Jeep the different places we go there are plenty of "Stupid Human Tricks" to last me quite a while. Also can mount it on the surfboard so when me and my son paddle out I think we can catch some lasting moments there too. But hey maybe these guys don't take pictures either, or just don't want to remember...Oh I don't know.
But to the other positive guys out there, would love to see your videos of your rides and thanks for the nice comments.
It plays in 1080P when I play it, but I had to adjust the player settings..

when I first played it, it was set to only 480, could that be the problem?
cool video, thanks for posting
Nice video. Really liked the music...you must have taken several rides with the GoPro mounted in different positions...that takes a lot of work! Thanks for the post!!!
I've got a Flip Video HD camera that I've enjoyed, very handy for traveling...but Wife 3.0 bought me a gift card with enough on it to buy one of the new Hero 3+ Black edition with the bike mounts for Christmas, so I guess this is going to be my next toy!
Nice to know some of you guys are using it already. Don't know how much use I'll have for it. There are some pretty roads that it would be fun to record, and as with any camera, you always end up finding new ways to use it!
Question, does it have a way to capture "stills" when editing? What editing software comes with it or have you found that works well?
Also...where did you have the camera mounted for each segment?
