Winter wrenching
Got a little dough for the 2013 SG at Christmas, always the go-to, and planned on getting new bars. Have searched sites and threads for answers but there are a dozen takes on how high I can go without needing extensions. I've heard 10" and 12". Also looking for a new cleaner but want to stretch the almighty dollar. Doing the work in my garage. Figured I might get a tighter pattern asking myself. Any takers?

im in the same boat as you, 2013 sg and want new bars, i think i have decided on chubbys wildones W0578, anyways, from what people have said, generally, in all the many many posts that ive read, 10'' bars are pretty much the limit for cables and clutch and brake line. and thats internally wired..... generally thats re routing the clutch cable in the fairing which to me is no big deal. however each brand of specific bars vary. i suggest to find some bars you like and then research them!
as far as the a/c im going to run the ness big sucka 2, with the stock cover. (ebay is the cheapest imo)
