Does anyone know the part number for the led backlighting (26 total) on the stock Harmon/Kardon stereo?
I have found the gauge part numbers and successfully changed mine out to red which matches my stock stereo perfectly. Now I have a buddy that wants his done in blue.
I DO NOT want to send mine in to anyone since I have the capability to change them myself.
Yes I would love to do it too. How about the speedo and tach? How hard easy were those two. Mine looks pretty silly right now. I changed the small gauges to blue. Got the stock speedo and tach, yellow. And my stereo is still red. I want all blue and want to do it myself also. thanks
Marty has my gauges right now. Doing blue with red needles. Once they're back I'll decide if I want to change the radio. Had I known how much it would have cost me to ship them I may have done it all at one time. $50 for round trip with ups plus insurance

The speedo and tach weren't too difficult. Of course I DO have a soldering microscope and a micro-miniature solder certification to go with it. :-)
I have found a couple vendors that sell the mini side-view led's. I will order a few different types with different specs. They're so cheap I can afford to experiment.
Hat's off to you for tackling it yourself. I've been into my hk but not to change the led color. I sent it off to the good folks at Iron Cross for that operation. Apparently some of those leds need intensity adjustments (obviously performed somewhere in the circuit to adjust voltage feed slightly) in order to balance the spread of the light and even it out within the display. I had them change my red lighting to white. Matches my ltd guage lights and I can now read it at night. The red glow stock background color was a bitch for me to see at night. Hope all goes well with your mods.
I didn't see the numbers for the radio. Maybe I missed it. That's what I'm looking for. I already have the info for the gauges. I did mine a few months ago.
