Default Filler neck product program
Wow! I had the filler neck replaced well over a month ago. Yesterday, I received the notice from Harley about the program. Glad to see they are on top of getting the word out in a timely manner. Geez.

Sounds to me like your dealer was on top of things…getting you squared away before the corporate folks ever made contact with you about the known issue. I would thank him for being proactive.

Absolutely! My dealer has been excellent regarding the coolant issues and has received my expression of gratitude several times.

Always fix problem ones while building parts supplies for volume replacement,then issue notice to customers, pretty standard practice for auto industry. Mike

Got my letter in the mail yesterday. I found out about it on this forum the day before Thanksgiving and had it changed that Saturday. I think it was on HD website when I signed in, it came up under recall notices.

Same here, thought it was strange to get it so late so checked the post mark -- the post mark on the envelope was the 17th of December. Post office must have been frozen in or something.

OK.....can somebody fill me in on this filler neck problem?? You mean the one where gas sprays all over the Goqqamn place when you fill it up??? There's nothing on the HD web sight.....Guess I'll have to wait for my snail mail letter to arrive as well
