Installing Halo Rings

1) problem #1 -- didn't read the directions completely and found that the 7" halo needed to have the tap at 60 degrees or above to make it activate correctly - so will bring them in the house and get them warmed up for next weekend and a 2nd set of hands to install
2) The 4 1/2" rings probably need two people also - the depth is just at the limit and if not straight on won't set in the groove -- I may have to remove the foam on the back of the LED halo as that might just give me a 1/32 to 1/16 more depth. and I hope its not needed or maybe shave a little plastic off of the spot light

I had the truk lites and halo rings on my 010 Ultra. the headlight ring wasn't to bad but the passing lamps were a pain in the azz. I ended up calling kury and telling them no way,he calmly told me they do dozens and always work.Went back out to the garage and I'll be damned if they didn't slip right on,look real nice and gets lots of looks when your done.HAVE PATIENCE,they will work..

well, I still haven't got them to fit, but I did figure out that the inside diameter of the spot light housing on a 2000 Electra Glide is 3.990 and a newer 2009 the inside diameter is 4.220 - which accounts for why the truck light with halo ring won't fit.
