Well when you jump on a King you will indeed be running with the big dogs. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me if the bike is sound. Plus I am sure you will have a warranty period with the purchase of the bike. So like they say, if it moves you, then that's all that really matters.
I road my dads ultra classic for a couple weeks before. Stage 2 upgrade, very quick and I could handle it. I would have no problem on the road king.
I set up a time on Saturday and go and work it out. Bike sounds like a beast.
So I'm thinkin on doing it

Once you get in your possession buy a set of the heritage handle
bars "the old stock bars", and a rear stabilizer and if it pulls to
the left disconnect the clutch cable from the triple tree. You are
going to love the Road king .
