I'm not sure a lot of Harley owners do either! I wear one to keep my hair just so and the bugs out of my eyes......

It's about being and not being seen on your bike. They're embarrassed.

I guess I don't fit anyone's stereo type, I ride in everything from full leathers boots and full face helmet to jeans, T-shirt and 3/4 open face helmet.I think every one knows what they should be wearing but it just gets so damn hot.I used to hop on my bike and run down to the liquor store in shorts and a Tank top but gave that up about the third time I burned my leg in the same spot on the exhaust. One of the nicest things about riding a bagger is you can easily carry enough gear to adjust for any weather that comes your way.

While I like the idea of wearing a full face helmet and practiced that idea for a while there is just something about the FF helmet that limits the joy of riding for me. There is something about the wind in my face, the increase visual field, and the sounds and smells the half helmet allows that just brings the whole riding experience together. Oh and my neck doesn't ache after a 500 mile ride down the hwy at 85mph when I wear my half helmet. With a FF helmet my damn neck would be killing me after a long day on the hwy.

I'm afraid to ask... what are *** antlers, and how do you know this to be true? Thanks in advance for your response.
