They said clear title.

The link hustonhdguy forwarded me is the same bike, but for $11.5k, and in Alabama. The ad I got said the bike was in LA. I'm bummed that this has all the red flags of a scam. But it's not very clever of a scammer to ask so little for such a bike. And to offer free shipping. That's practically giving it away!

I'm a professional artist and I sometimes get scammers that want to buy my stuff. One guy gave me a mailing address in Hawaii and asked how much import duty would be coming from Seattle. Drrrrk!

Anyway, live and learn. Thanks for setting me straight on this bike, guys!!

Tell him you'll fly down and pick it up. Se what he says. He'll probably make an excuse.

If you wanna dick with him a little, tell him your brother lives in LA and will bring him cash for the bike as soon as he wants. Betcha he either doesn't respond, or makes an excuse. I'm not bored enough to do it, but I know guys that will keep these scammers dangling and making excuses for weeks until they finally give up.
