Default Switching Latch Hardware to Aftermarket Saddlebags

I'm purchasing Extended CVO bags within the next few weeks and I'm curious to the level of difficulty it is to change the latch hardware from stock bags to new bags.

Loctite and a light touch on those tiny screws. They strip EASILY! Ask me how I know!

"easy" seems to be the popular answer.

I've done it a few times, pretty easy, since it sounds like your first time, be sure to pay close attention and do one bag at a time.

Its very simple. If your bags come lined then get an ale and heat it up and melt your holes in the carpet. A small flat tip screw driver to help get the bushing in for the saddle bag pins. I just did mine. fit everything before you have them painted. then when you put it back together use Loctite blue on all the metal to metal surfaces.
