My last Harley didn't have it....and It was jackin up my high dollar boots....so I swear by the heel-shifter....size 8 1/2...so don't have any fit issues. I can see it being a problem with those big _ _ _ feet.

I've always had a heel shifter. Once, I tried to use the toe shifter and got confused and couldn't remember where I was. No more of that stuff, now it's heel all the time. (9 1/2 foot, BTW).

couldn't imagine not having a heel shift which is strange considering I come from rice burner background and crotch rockets. To me it seems easier to speed shift with a heel shift anyway!

Size 9 - Love my heel shifter, just put it as low to the floor board as possible.

Size 16 and there was no way. I took it off before it left the dealer.

I understand they are nice, but I have size 13 feet with massive Harley Boots. Needless to say I have taken off my last 2 motorcycles

I've got a solution for those of you with big feet who still want to keep the heel/toe shifter setup. This company makes beautiful billet (genuine) extended shift levers. I had these on my last Road King Custom and will shortly be putting them on my Street Glide. The quality of the product is first rate. I have no affiliation with this company - just a very satisfied customer. This is a small company and I like helping the little guys who make quality stuff.

Also, have you ever noticed how the floorboards on Harley baggers are too close in to the bike? It's especially bad with the Road King Customs and Street Glides due to the narrow streamliner floorboards. Your feet want to slide outward off of the boards - gets very tiring on day long rides. This same company also makes a spacer kit to move the boards out 3/4". I've got them on my Street Glide and they work great. Here are the links to both products.

Size 13 toe shitfing only.

I can't fit my feet right when I try to use the heel. It takes a bit of adjusting to get my foot happy on the boards.

I'm going to look into the extended. It's been something I've wanted now since I picked up the bike.
