I am one of the Bigfoots.... 14 EEE. I am going to get something different.. Prolly the easy shifters... I have a LOT of foot problems, so I really like the floorboards. This is my first bike with the heel shift, but I like it. Took me about a day to get used to it, but now feels very natural. My feet fit underneath the levers, but I would like to have a little more room... Thanks to the guys for posting pics of what you have done, it is very helpful to see it on a real bike, as opposed to in a catalog...
Geeze man! Are you the missing link?[sm=joke.gif]
You know what they say about us guys with big feet...... Takes us all (*(*&&%^@#$ day to find comfortable shoes.... I was a 13 until some foot surgery, now I need extra room.
BTW, I can waterski without ski's too.
BWAHAHAHA! That's great! I thought it was somthing else about big feet..... Oh yeah, big socks![sm=groupwave.gif]
Like to shift down all the time. Got both shift levers set as low as they can go so I hardly have to lift my foot. Also set with very little play so as soon as I touch em they shift. Kuryakyn has adapters that extend the boards 3/4" outward, $40.
Size 11-- tried using it -- didn't like it and it lmited my foot movement. Took it off but the bike looked wierd without it. Back on now -- still don't use it.
BIG FOOT does ride a Harley[sm=joke.gif]
With my little 9 1/2, I got room to dance on the floorboards!
And I use the heel shifter about 65% of the time
