I have a 07 road king, the right side foot board is rattling it has the heel guard on it that prevents the sole of your boot from touching the pip I tried to move the foot board and it didn't seem lose, didn't know if anyone else has ran into this?

could be your rubbers are worn out, they have bushings molded into them, easy to replace with new mats
BUT, your floorboards should be loose enough on the mounts, so that if the bike goes over they pivot up out of teh way.
levers, bars, floorboards...any hard parts that can dig in and start the bike flipping are bad. these should all be mounted so that under hard force, they fold up
