removing it is just as simple as the installation. Getting the captive nut in is the most difficult part of the entire install and that is still extremely simple.
One small issue I had was that the RH cap o-ring would squeeze out between the cap and the fork leg. Removed and reinstalled several times and never could get it to not squeeze out.

I'm going to do a little research on this for you. First time I have seen this.

Its a Renegade hidden axle kit. Purchased last year from the Renegade tent at Thunder Beach in Panama City Beach, FL.
I called Renegade about the problem twice. They had no solution and were going to call me back both times and I never got a call back. I even e-mailed them the picture of the O ring hanging out of the clamp.
The O ring appeared to be the right size, its the one that came in the axle kit.

I just showed this pic to my tech. He said to loosen up the clamp a lot and pull the cap off. Ensure the o ring is oriented properly and put the cap back in with the o ring on it. Then tighten up the clamp last. We use the same o ring with our axles that Renegade uses. I hope this helps although I am not sure it will.

Thats the way it was installed. It looks OK until you tighten the clamp.
The tighter the clamp gets the more the O ring starts coming out. It's possible its the wrong O ring, but it is the one that came in the kit.
I thought Renegade would at least send me a new O ring to try, but I guess not. LOL.
I have some o rings here if you want one. Just let me know and PM me your address. Who installed the axle? I also work very closely with renegade and would bet if you call and talk to Amanda that she would send you a new o ring.
