Default 2014 Ultra Limited

I'm considering buying a 2014 Ultra Limited. I currently have a 2012 Fatbob. I'm looking for something to jump on and drive cross country a lot.

How have this bike been since it's release and any thoughts?

I have had several bikes including (6) BMW's and(4) FL's, the new limited is amazing, I purchased in Sept 13 and was able to put 4300 miles on it before snow and ice stopped the fun. It is a big and heavy machine but that is it what makes it a great road machine.
No regrets

I went from a 07 SE Ultra with the 110 inch motor to the 14 Limited. Big improvement. The 103 in my new bike runs better than my 07 110.

I'm making the same switch myself next month. The fatbob is fun to blast around town on, buy tiring on longer rides. I have a BMW r1200gs that has been my touring bike, but I'm rerouting it to my commuting bike, and trading the fatbob in for the flhtk as my new touring bike. Great handling bike, and all of the creature comforts for touring.

What an awesome machine!! I bought mine in November , and absolutely LOVE THIS BIKE!
Do yourself a favor and spend some time learning the "infotainment " while you are sitting still somewhere. I found it very easy to use, but was too focused on that versus watching the road. Have fun and good luck G

Had an '09 classic, '12 Ultra Classic and now '14 UL. Only have about 2K on the '14 but can tell that it is a better ride than the first two. Tighter front end, I think it will be somewhat cooler but cant say for sure as I got it after the hot season was over. It has some bells and whistles that previously were only availabe on the CVO bikes so like that a lot. The speakers and sound system are much improved. I really dont spend any time on all the extra stuff in the infotainment system. Just want to plug in the Ipod and ride. Personally I like the new look of the tour pak and the extra space it gives.

To me it was worth it. Looking forward to lots of riding in '14, but that assumes that this terrible cold winter will find end some day, ha ha.

Went from a 2008 Ultra Classic to the 2014 Limited.
Better engine, better suspension
Only have 1500 miles on her, waiting for a good long ride soon.
Also no problems with water cooling or anything.
Agree with skieverything: Learn the Infotainment prior to riding. The temptation to play with is too much.
