My wife took a spill on her bike 3 years ago, wasn't caused by any other drivers, she just missed a switchback and high sided. Shattered 7 ribs, lacerated liver & spleen, lots of trauma to her right lung but 5 months later she was back on the bike and still riding. She also had on all her safety gear and because of that her injuries were minimal all things considered and no road rash at all. Glad your OK, and congrats on the new bike. Hope that moron that caused it gets a visit from karma.......
Nuthin' worse than a hit & run POS! I got rear-ended on the Parkway a couple years ago and came out pretty good with a cracked rib and hyperextended fingers. Glad you're still able to ride!
