It sounds like it is leaking from trans cover. You need to check all the bolts for tightness, mine leaked from the same place, tightend bolts and its been fine since.

That's been a problem with these bikes for quite awhile. I think the MOCO even sent out a service bulletin addressing that. It's most notably the 2 bolts that hold the bracket on the clutch release cover. They do need perodic tightening
I don't think you have a huge problem here. More than likely you just have something which has loosened up over time. If your air breather has not gotten wet with oil which has puked out during hot weather, that is not likely your problem. Check the oil drain plug, transmission drain plug or even the primary drain plug for leakage. It there is any oil residue down there it will blow back towards the back of the bike when your riding. It can show up anywhere from your pipes to your pants to the front side of your saddlebags. Use some spray brake cleaner down there to clean all oil residue up on the bottom of the engine case, then go out and put some miles on it. If you have something loose, it will show up now as fresh oil. You might also check to make sure your head pipe gaskets are tight as well as your muffler clamps. I have seen both of these splatter black residue when the engine is started up during cold weather.

I had the same issue with my 2012 Ultra. Leaked enough to make the occasional mess, but not to cause enough of a drop in oil volume to even have me add to it between changes.
My '10 ultra did the same thing at the transmission cover. Use blue thread locker and tighten to spec. Also do the bolts for the header support while you are doing this. No need to worry about any problems with the cover, the bolts just loosen from vibrations.
thanks a lot guys .I'm confident, reading your replies, that its just a few lose bolts. Now I have to find a way to get to those bottom two bolts on the tranny cover ..its super tight with the exhaust in the way.
you will probably have to cut an allan wrench so you can get to the 2 bolts behind the exhaust pipe. one other thing to check is to make sure your oil filter is tight.
Either have to modify an allen wrench or remove the pipe Top. Mine did that before it had 1000 miles on her. Blue loc tight is your friend, problem solved.
