This is just my guess. Air cooled Road Glide & twin cooled Road Glide Ultra. Also info center. By 2017 all touring bikes will be twin cooled, due to EPA laws. Remember, just my guess. But I did have a friend that worked close to the MoCo, that knew a guy that worked for a company that did work for another company that knew a guy that worked for the MoCo. I can't name, names at this time, but if you send me $100. cash I'll give you all there names, but you can't tell anyone.
You say[6.5 touch screens if you can reach it while riding] have you seen it's to far away or is this a assumption? Can you give any info on your source?
if you got long arms you can reach it while riding. handle bar control can do all of that for you anyway. Cousin said nothing crazy about it . Still looks almost like the 2012 road Glide .
I think the fairing layout is a no brainer. Gauges in the fairing and touchscreen in the old speedo/tach pod.
But I believe there will be a twin cooled version. Maybe like the Electra Glides. A TC Limited and air cooled Ultra.
Let's think about this radio placement for a minute. That radio is a pretty large unit. I can't see it mounted on the bars and still be able to turn them between the fairing. Only way to accomplish this would be to have a remote touch screen with the actual radio mounted in the fairing still. Connection between the two would be a can bus ribbon cable. I can't see MoCo spending the money to develop something like this knowing it would promote use of the touchscreen while in motion. Just my 2 cents.
