bars cables and extensions
im about to place my order with eastern performance for kst bars and la choppers cables..the plug and play extension kit is a little cheaper with namz so ill probably go that route..anything else I might need or should get? thanks guys

Not usually something I have but I went a got a service manual today and have all the tools except the homemade ignition tool. I have a week off coming up to do it all if I have the parts in time

A quart of tranny oil and maybe some new exhaust gaskets. Give yourself the better part of a day just for the clutch cable...

You don't need any oil or exhaust gaskets. Your gonna need some polyeurathane bushings for your new bars. When your ready to take the tranny cover off for the new clutch cable, jack the bike up off the floor and set a 2x4 under each wheel, the lower the bike down onto the boards and lean over in kickstand. You will lose only a minimal amount of tranny fluid this way. Take your mufflers off and loosen exhaust at the heads and take out the exhaust bolt under the tranny. This will allow you enough room to access the bolts for the tranny cover and not have to completely dismantle the exhaust. Also get a new tranny gasket. If I think of anything else I'll let you know or if you have anymore questions I'll be glad to try to help.

I was wondering about the bushing.. I've been reading a lot on here and have seen them mentioned a few times.. I don't have a jack so I'll have to do it the dirty way..
