I am ordering the FM 107" with Level B heads, TB port, TW-777 cams, 10.5 compression but the headers and exhaust I am lost on. I have a 2009 Road King and I am going with the "Old School" look. I want to get a good exhaust but I don't want to lose too much HP/TQ from the build that I just dropped so much money in to. If this has been in another thread (I looked) please post the link and I will shut up.
My exhaust of choice would be Samson TD headers w/ fishtail slip ons all black and I would heat wrap the headers. I hear you loose a lot of TQ with this setup though and I am mainly doing the build for the TQ. I have heard BCT or baffled but still want to get as much as I can.
I was also looking at Jackpot 2-1-2 headers and Jackpot 4 inch dyno w/ competition baffles possibly in black or the black Rinehart 4 inch TDs.
Question is: does anyone have experience with any of these setups or good suggestions for the Samsons? How much TQ am I expected to lose with the TD setup? I know just going from Jackpot 4 inch to the Rinehart Slip ons I lose 3-4 TQ according to FM. Coming from a 96ci would I even notice the loss with Samson TDs? Does anyone possibly have a dyno chart with TDs or the Samson TDs specifically?
Sorry just trying to get some opinions and possible options. Thanks for the help.

I have the Jackpot 2-1-2 headers with 4" Rineharts. Awesome! in one word. I've had this exhaust on my bike for 3 years now. I'd buy it again.
My bike made 106 hp / 121 tq with this exhaust and the FM107 w/ TW-555 cams. I can't say one bad thing about the Jackpot exhaust. If max hp/tq is your goal, you're selling yourself short if you don't use the Jackpot 2-1-2 exhaust with your FM107 kit.
Attached is the dyno chart of my 2010 Ultra with the FM107 w/ TW-555 cams, no head work, Jackpot 2-1-2 head pipe and 4" Rineharts.
I talked to them before they closed for the V-Twin expo and they said "Why spend all the money to upgrade is you are not gonna go with maximum TQ and build?" While I do agree and that is partly why I am kicking myself in the *** for thinking about it, I should have asked them how much I would be losing. All that was said is with the Rineharts I will lose about 3-4 HP/TQ. For me looks is big as long as I don't have a scooter just putting along from the stop light. I will definitely go into detail next time but was just trying to get some other opinions for now.
My guess is the Samson's wouldn't be any/much worse than rinehearts ?? A proper 2-1 would be best for tq but a proper Xpipe is nearly as good. I do love them fish tails on the right RK though!
I spoke to FM about this as well. With True Duals the issue with ported heads isnt as much about losing TQ as much as where it comes on.
Jamie recommended against ported heads with true duals because peak TQ is farther to the right, farther than I typically ride. Yes, you'd lose a handful of ponies at peak but the other issue you have to consider is where it comes on.

This is a really good point.
Going with the Jackpot header you get to keep the look of duals and use those fishtails while maintaining the benefits of the X-pipe.
I went with what the guys at FM recommended for the cams. TW-777, I think had the more broad range at peak.
After discussing pipes with the guys from FM, I stayed with the 2009 header. They said it was almost the same as the Jackpots 2-1-2 (not as good) but was definitely one of the best headers HD put off. Like '05 Train said, this allows me to go for looks of true duals and continues the back pressure needed.
