Leaking Master Cylinder cover AGAIN

This may sound silly but I had a similar problem on my V-Rod after doing a brake flush. Kept getting a fluid leak and everything looked and tourqued out perfectly. I had the cover on the wrong way. Flipped it 180 and tightened it down and the problem went away. May be totally wrong but something to think about at least. The cover had no text on it and was very difficult to tell. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may end up trying an after market black cover such as a Roland Sands or similar. They are metal and not plastic, same as chrome. That could be the issue, plastic distorts and doesn't tighten evenly???
The breather hole in the new cover is different and can only go one direction. I have it pointed in the right direction.
