on my 2010 s/g with abs i notice a lil brake fluid around the cover ive taken the cover off cleaned it and put it back on making sure it was tight, still geting a lil leak.any one eles have this prob
Common problem. My 08 leaked and bubbled the paint on the cover, replaced cover and gasket under warranty, leaked again so I finally gave up and got a chrome master cylinder cover.
check the torque on the screws..... it's like 6 in/lbs... which is like nothing. In the "fix my hog" chapter on brakes... they say if you over-tighten the screws on the caps, they'll leak. Just sayin........

+1 on this... had a gift card for $30 and the difference was $40, so out of pocket for me was $10... Thank you warranty... 09 Road King Classic here...
Yup, this seems to be an issue for a lot of folks. I had two 08's both did it. My 09 Ultra does not have any issue as of yet. One would think this wouldn't be a common problem but it sure seems to be...
ive had a few softails and buells never had a prob. with this..wasnt sure if it had something to do with abs.thinkin more brake pressure but seems to common for some .. kind suxs
They supposedly redesigned the internal rubber baffling and/or the cover around mid-'08. I knew about the problem with '07 and '08 models and kept an eye on it. When it started oozing two years ago and I had them replace the cover assembly in warranty before it did any damage to the MC housing itself. No more problem after that, so I assume the redesign of the baffle was successful.
