The best part of the chopper is the S&S motor. No way would I do it. Rigids are rough,but if you run your air pressure a little low on the rear tire it's not as bad as you think.

Of course your RK is more comfortable and a better tourer but that really has little to do with why folks have & ride choppers. I've had all kinds of bikes including a rigid triumph custom with 20 over glider daily rider, back in the day. Loved that thing. I actually sold my ness custom RG for a "Frankistine" rigid dresser I rode nearly 10 years till I finally got too old and got my current RK. If the chopper "speaks" to ya, go for it. Get old later!

A chopper is something you add to the stable to keep your touring bike company when you're not there and to ride around town on short trips so you can look cool.

I wouldn't trade an RK for two of those choppers. I have a softail chopper I built,and an Ultra. I ride the Ultra,once in a while I look at the chopper-what a waste!
