Has anyone installed this combination: High flow a/c, SuperTrapp SuperMegs 2:1, ThunderMax closed loop w/wideband sensors on a 2007 touring bike?
Are there any clearance issues with the sensors?
Did Zippers set you up with a basemap that you find acceptable?
I want Thundermax because I want to tinker with the number of discs and cap / no cap to get the sound I like and let the ECM correct the a/f mix. I don't want a dyno. I'm not trying to squeeze performance out of the bike. I just want to let the motor breathe, I want to tinker the exhaust sound, and I want to correct the factory lean condition.
My guess is this combination is a nice improvement from stock in terms of power, tq, throttle response, and running temperature.
I can only comment on the ThunderMax w/ auto tune,I installed it on my '05 Ultra and have nothing but good to say about it. Zippers preloaded a base map for me, I never had to connect to a lap top. (don't have a working lap top) and afterthe simple inital start the system started it's auto tune.
