Which is better, Clymer or Chiltons? I have found the HD Manuals are about as worthless as most dealers! My 08 Dyna proved that to me, now I need one for my '11 Limited. Im having difficulties locating one online, so, anyone have any idea and which book/number would it be...

Honestly, you must be joking. I dont think you'll see complete electrical schematics or complete torque specs in aftermarket manuals. I am not sure I'd even trust them.
I only wish they were available electronically as well. Well worth the dough.
I cant imagine a resource as thorough as the HD manuals. Have one for the Sportster, the Dyna, and the Bagger.
Gotta agree with this one. The factory manuals have info that the other ones most likely wont (e.g., torque settings, wiring diagrams etc.) Coming from a V-Rod I found that I knew more about the bike than most techs by simply reading the manual, google and internet forums. Didn't have much of a choice on that bike but to do my own service and the shop manual saved me many times.

Get either one and you'll see what a worthless manual looks like.
I have both the Clymer and the Chilton for one of my non-Harley motorcycles and it is frightening how much information is different between the manuals. Both have errors.
I have purchased the service and the parts manuals for every Harley that I have owned and and pleased with the level of detail in the Harley manuals.

First dumb thing I have ever heard you say. I never remember your screen name but where you live reminds me it's you everytime. NOTHING beats the factory manuals. And... if you aren't that mechanical (the factory manuals do need a little bit of understanding on things), go get a matching Parts manual. Not only does this give every single part number on your bike, but the blow -up diagrams are really handy, too.
