Default Front Fork Info Needed

A buddy of mine came across a HD chrome front end kit, with the part number ending in -08. I know this means it will fit 08+ bikes. He has a 07 Street Glide. Will this kit work?

What is the difference in 07 and 08 forks?

That kit will work. No difference in the forks.

Look at your parts book, they are the same from 2000-2013.

Wrong! Axle size is only different in the middle of the axle. The ends that are inserted into the legs are the same size.

Will not work unless he runs a 08+wheel or changes out bearings.
