when weather breaks, make an appt with Fuel Moto. Ride up, check into motel, head over to FM and drop off the bike. next day, watch tv all day then head over to fuel moto and pick up your bike. the break-in will be done on the dyno, just swing a leg over it and start the ride home.
That's what I've been thinking about, except I'm going to rent a bike from Appleton and see some of Wisconsin while FM does their magic.
Need to call J&B Performance Cycles in Mohawk TN, that's near Bulls Gap.
They have my heads right now, going to 1.9 intake valve, porting and installing compression reliefs just in case. I'm dong a 107 build with TW 555 cams. I'd recommend these guy's to anyone.
They also do dyno tuning and do a good job at that as well. You can also Facebook them , Call Justin Bryant at 423-972-8705.
After shopping around, it looks like Fuelmoto is the best deal. For everything included in the kit, I just don't see how I could find a better deal. The cam chest upgrade is what makes it such a good deal.
I was just watching the S&S video on doing the install it looks pretty straight forward Jugs pistons cams and I would have the heads done while I had it apart.
It is extremely straight forward. Heads are off anyway so yes get them done. My only pain issue is waiting for warmer weather to put it all together. No special tools needed, although a couple will make it easier. Intake bolt wrench. Torque adapters for the rear rocker box. Nothing expensive. Ft. Lb. and inch lb. Torque wrenches but you should already have these if wrenching period. +1 on FuelMoto. Their kit is reasonably priced and quality.

Exactly what I did. Great experience, great ride. You will not regret going to their place, if that's how you choose to proceed. My FM build thread is here for reference.

Yep. All the cool kids go to Fuel Moto.
Actually they have great customer service and have some rock solid kits. I'm lucky that I'm only an hour away from them.
