I've ordered stuff from RV Upgrades before for my motorhome. They are fast & reliable.
Gonna order a pack of those extenders for myself today.

I wonder if the spokes will be in the way for turning that extension in.
Doh! Good question. I've never owned a bike with spokes so I don't know myself. On the other hand, I don't remember if the extension had to be turned or if it attached using a locking collar (it's been awhile since I've had to use 'em.)

I was having difficulty checking the air in my tires until I put a 90 degree end on my air pressure gauge, problem fixed. I use one of the professional type gauges with a short hose on it. It came with a 45 degree end on it. The end screws on and looks like an air chuck.

Great question, and great answer TowJam. Thanks to both of you! Gonna get one to throw in the tool kit for on the road.

Good question!! I would like one for the air suspension valve on my RK. It is located so it cannot be reached without removing the saddle bags. If there was an angled add-on it would work great.

You don't need to remove the saddlebags - just pop the left saddlebag lid open. And, I would HIGHLY recommend using Harley's air shock pump - it makes checking and adjusting the air pressure as painless as you're going to get. It's also small enough to keep in your saddle bag without taking up any amount of room. This is the first accessory I would buy for any of the tourers (especially since it's a good bet that when you take delivery, the rear shocks are either over inflated or empty altogether).

Most tube mfgr's make angled valve stemmed tubes. Look in the Parts Unlimited Street Book at your local shop...If they dont have the book, go to a dirt bike shop, they always have one.

I have an air gauge that helps out alot. Round dial type gauge with hose. The hose locks onto the valve stem. The round gauge has an air fitting on it. Works great.
