I have a 93 FLHS Hydra Glide. the front end will not keep the air pressure up, lasts maybe 10-15 miles of use then is just rough as a cob and feel every bump in the road. Anybody know if a rebuild will fix this or do i need to find a different front end for this bike of mine.
There are a few places the system could be losing pressure.
Fork seals are definitely one. Also you will want to check the schrader valve on the handlebar as well as the connection from the bars to the forks.
You might be surprised at how much just changing the fork oil out can make the rider better. Many folks ditch the air altogether and just replace the fork caps with normal non-air caps.
