I'm trying to decide on exhaust for my Ultra. I was looking at the Rhinehart Touring Rinehart Xtreme True Duals and someone said the V&H headers with Rhinehart slip-ons are the way to go. I don't want it to sound like a Volkswagen like the factory exhaust, I also do't think I want it so loud I can't hear the radio at 75 on trips either. Has anyone heart either combo or exhaust? Looking for opinions please.
I have V&H Dresser Duals with 4" Rinehart slipons and love the sound. They get loud when you get on them and have a nice rumble when cruising. But as you know what sounds great to me might not sound good to you. I also plan on installing SE 255 cams and hope it doesnt get to much louder.
I've got V&H dresser duals on my '13 Road King with 4" Rineharts and have V&H Power dual headpipes and SuperTrapp FatShots on my '14 Limited. The Rk is my hotrod with Wood cam etc etc, the Limited is my two up long haul tour bike. The two combos fit their puppose just right. The Limited has a great sound that is "adjustable" and suits much more for long haul riding and listening to music etc. The Road King sounds like a Hot Rod.
