First of all I have always been an ape hanger guy, all my previous bikes were apes.
I recently bought a 2010 Electra police and I left the police scheme as it is because I actually think it looks kinda cool. I got massive pain and cramping with the stock bar so I bought a klock werks ergo back bar, I did not go ape hanger because I think a cop bike with ape just does not look right. Due to the police seat which I will never give up, I sit quite a bit higher and rearward thus reducing my reach to the handlebar, with the klock werks ergo back I have to lean back the bar to the maximum (full turn right before the bar hits gas tank cover) before it feels right with slight bend on my elbow when riding, I kinda like it but I still find myself slouching and still feeling pain on my upper back on longer trip, so I decided to hell with it and planning to get 10" or 12" ape. What 10"-12" apes have the most pullback? I like La Chopper twin peak and PYO MB styling but the most pullback is my priority.
To each his own! Lol. Wild 1s seem to have the most pull back from what I have seen. At 12" or more. It's funny though. Having come from a beach bar, I don't like the wrist angle of a big pullback so I'm looking for the exact opposite.

If I am not riding with this dang police seat that I like so much I wouldn't have this reach problem, I don't like pullback wrist angle either but my upper back really hates me...
