Default Front Suspension Upgrade?

I am getting ready to disassemble my forks, powder coat the sliders and change the cow bells. I thought I'd see what upgrades are available and possibly install something new while it's apart. Don't need to lower, but I do ride fast in the twisties and would like something with less dive while braking.

I know HD has an upgrade that is a complete cartridge for @ $350(for the 2014 SGS). Has anyone done this upgrade and what do you think? What else is out there?

A fork oil upgrade does wonders to reduce diving.

True, the final position of the bike is the same under a steady state given force. Oil won't change that. But the rate of time gets changed, and the diving past that point and bobing back can be eliminated with a thicker oil that better dampens the fork motion.

Mono tubes or Ricor intiminators with a better set of springs will make a huge difference. I run Mono tubes in my bagger. Intiminators in the sporty.

All the old info is fine and good. But I need to know what is available for the new 49mm fork tubes. Guess I should have been more specific, but everything I have read so far is about 41mm tubes. The new HD kit doesn't come with new tubes like the old kit does. Guess it's not necessary. Progressive and Ricor are not showing anything for the 49mm. HD doesn't list it online, but my parts guy assures me that they are available.

I'm pretty certain Ricor makes 49mm as dyna's started with 49mm in 06 or 07. I'd call them. Saw a blast from baggers Mag on FB yesterday saying Progressive Spring kit would soon be available.

HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal may be able to provide Ohlins cartridges. They are fully adjustable for damping and spring pre-load. He already does them for the other models with 49mm forks.
