Fish Tails

So, I'm kicking around a couple ideas with my Road King right now. One of the things that I think would really go with the look I am going for is a set of extended fish tails. Have any of you put fishtails on your bike? Have you been able to find any with good sound?

I had V&H fish tails on my Road King. Looked great but pretty quiet, tho much of that is due to 2-1-2 headers vs true duals. If you want great sound, gotta go with true duals.

I have never had them, but I have heard them, and they are pretty quiet..the biggest complaint I have heard about them is that they will bite your ankles and
leave a mark that looks like you got bit by a shark..

I have freedom performance true duals with fishtails and the are NOT quiet! If anything even with their supposed "quiet baffle" they are still very raspy when you crack the throttle. I am happy with the sounds but havent gotten it out on the road yet to really see if I like it. Otherwise the fit and finish are excellent

I have a set of fishtails on my roadking and love 'em. The sound is distinctive and loud but manageable, and the look is killer. my fishtails are nothing fancy - just a set of extensions you can buy anywhere. they come wiith no baffles but you will need to add them otherwise your bike won't run well.

Also look at Supertrapps SE's and the Screaming Eagle SE's. they have multiple different end caps so you can change them up and have a deep sound. Funny how the sound you hear changes with the different end caps. Be careful though the fishtails and sharkfins like to bite shins !!

I have V&H fishtail slip on's, I like the sound. as said they are not real loud but do offer different baffles if you want louder. They are top quality and look bitchen on my King.
