I received my new Full Face Helmet last week....a Shoei RF1100, and then last night I got my new Sena SMH10 Dual Bluetooth set. I dutifully unboxed the Sena and proceeded to wire my new helmet. Was surprisingly simply, now the embarassing part.....once the helmet was wired I synced my phone to the Sena unit and walked around the house listening to music all evening....speaker quality is excellent......good thing I live alone !
I think I'm gonna LIKE this bluetooth thing, especially since I ride a Road King and this is a great way to get tunes.
The BT things are an awesome addition...And to **** what others think..LOL
Your happy and it will bring you alot of enjoyment!!!
Just be careful when you start singing @ a stoplight when others are gazing @ you and your bike...Been there done that and thats what makes ya feel like a goof...LOL
Enjoy!!!!
I would think that would only be embarrassing in West Virginia since the head has to move with all that hillbilly music. Shouldn't be any problem once you are out of the area and can get some nice, calm rock and roll.
(Just kidding, I'm a Mountaineer too, WVU '78, and yes, one of my legs is longer than the other from walking the hills.)

the SENA SMH10 is a great product and worthy investment. It really added new dynamic to long rides that can get monotonous at times. I have both the speaker and the ear bud helmet clamps depending on which helmet I ride with, an inexpensive luxury .... enjoy the ride and speed safe!
My wife and I got each other new Schuberth helmets for Christmas. I wandered around for and hour or so with mine on inside the house to make sure it fit.
Many have all done something similar. When I purchased my G4 set a few years back we set up the helmets and Mrs. and I both put ours on. I walked around the house talking to her to make sure they worked. I walked upstairs, downstairs, into the garage, out to the street, and up and down the street a bit to check the range.
Consider it a necessary part of the process. And yes, BT tunes are awesome. It was the real reason I bought the set.
