2014 One Touch Latch Question
Just curious if anyone has experimented with trying to graft the new one touch saddlebag latch system onto an older set of bags? I know the bags and lids are different, and the latch/hinge and catch system is different, but I'm curious if there's a moderately affordable way to do it? I don't wanna go the police bag lid option.

I looked into this ALOT and what I am finding is that the bags themselves will line up on pre 14 bikes with a slight mod but I can not find the hardware by itself anywhere to see if you could covert the older bags.

Harley spent a lot of time and $$ improving those bag latches. They haven't been around over 100 years in business for nothin. I'm sure some of the minor changes etc were done with the idea not to make it too easy to retro-fit. I got a free set of the new bags when I bought my 2014 FLHTK. Since I still have a '13 RK, it's even more of a PITA to use those bags. I'm thinkin the expense and time trying to switch bags is not going to be cost or time effective
