Some of the very best times of my life. take pictures along the way to reminisce when you are too old to do it anymore.
Take all the clothes you want to take and put them on the bed. Now put 2/3 back. Pack what is left... plus a good rain set.
Some things you only need one or one set between you and your buddy (like a motorcycle tool kit and first aid kit and tire repair kit) talk to each other and figure who will take what of these items.
Use your pack or a back rest, it make the long rides much more comfortable.
Dont get in a hurry, stop to see the sites, revisit the day at the bar after the ride.
