I did the conversion about 5-6 years ago on my 06' SG. I had a RG back in 03' and after selling it I bought the SG. Never really cared for the handling of the Batwing over the RG so ended up doing the conversion. You should be pleased with the outcome, especially the handling. Now I have a 13' RG with the updated frame, etc.

Two reasons!!! 1st I wanted a Road Glide and 2nd it was a cheaper alternative.

After looking for a Road Glide last year and realizing the hit I was going to take if I traded my heavily modified Street Glide if I were to go that route. I then looked at buying one outright and realized how much I'd spend making it my own. I figured this to be the least expensive alternative. If I had to pay someone to do all this, then that would be a different story. Nice thing is, at this point I've tentatively sold all the Street Glide stuff to recoup some of my expense.

Default Yaffe Chupa fender mock up!

Mocked up the Yaffe Chupa rear fender today. Looks like it fits well. Now it's off to the painter. Can't wait to see the big brown truck tomorrow. My inner and outer fairings, along with my new Mustang seat are scheduled to arrive.

I had a 1986 FLTC and went the other way.

I changed it from a FLTC to a FLHS. Mine was easier and cheaper.

Any updates? How did the painted parts look when they arrived?

Don't keep us hanging!
